Former Dranesville Supervisor John Foust Endorses Jennifer Boysko For Congress

Foust: "No one works harder for constituents than Jennifer Boysko."

Today, former Fairfax County Supervisor John Foust announced his endorsement of State Senator Jennifer Boysko in her campaign for Virginia’s 10th Congressional District. Having worked with Boysko for over a decade, first as a staffer in his office and then as a legislative partner, Foust highlighted her tireless commitment to public service.

“Throughout her career, Jennifer Boysko has embodied what it means to be a true public servant,” said Foust. “As a member of my staff and then as a delegate and senator herself, I witnessed firsthand Jennifer’s unparalleled work ethic and dedication to the unglamorous but essential parts of the job. No task is too small and no community concern is too obscure for Jennifer. She understands that for government to work for the people, they need a representative who works relentlessly for them. There is simply no one who will outwork Jennifer Boysko on behalf of Virginia’s 10th District.”

Foust, who ran for Congress himself in the 10th District in 2014, said his experience campaigning across the district makes him certain Boysko is the right fit for the area.
“Having campaigned in every corner of the 10th District, I know the values and priorities of voters from Sterling to Manassas,” Foust continued. “Jennifer Boysko embodies those values and will be a strong voice for the entire district in Washington. I’m proud to endorse her campaign and urge everyone to support Jennifer Boysko for Congress.”

“John Foust has been a mentor and friend for many years. I’m honored to have his support,” said Boysko. “As Dranesville Supervisor, John always put people over politics and focused on delivering results. That’s the approach I’ll bring to Congress.”

Prior to his retirement in 2023, Foust represented the Dranesville District on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors for 16 years. On the Board of Supervisors, he was well known as a budget expert and saved taxpayers millions from his work on the audit committee. He was the Democratic nominee for the 10th Congressional District in 2014 and has been a longtime real estate consultant and attorney.
