Rep. Jennifer McClellan Endorses Democrat Jennifer Boysko For Congress In VA-10

McClellan: “Jennifer Boysko is the relentless fighter we need in Congress – now, more than ever.”

Today, Democratic Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan (VA-04) endorsed Democratic community activist, advocate, and State Senator Jennifer Boysko for Virginia’s Tenth Congressional District to succeed Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton. Before her election to Congress, Congresswoman McClellan served alongside Boysko in the Virginia General Assembly for 8 years and worked with her on several monumental priorities including: protecting reproductive freedom, preventing gun violence, and economic opportunity for all people. McClellan is the first member of the current Virginia Congressional delegation to endorse in the 10th Congressional District race.

“With extreme MAGA Republicans pushing for dangerous and divisive policies that put women and families at risk, Virginia needs tenacious leaders that never back down. That’s why I’m endorsing Jennifer Boysko for Congress,” said Rep. Jennifer McClellan. “Working with her in the Virginia General Assembly, I saw firsthand how Jennifer is the relentless fighter we need in Congress to protect reproductive freedom, stand up to the NRA to address gun violence, and always put Virginia’s working families first. Jennifer has worked tirelessly to solve problems for Northern Virginia families, and she’ll do the same in Congress.”

“From the PTSA, to local government, to the Virginia General Assembly, I’ve made it my life’s work to bring people together and solve problems. I’ll do the same in Congress, alongside Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan,” said Democrat Jennifer Boysko. “With Washington MAGA Republicans putting Donald Trump and corporate special interests ahead of Virginia kids, women, and working families, the stakes couldn’t be higher. My grassroots campaign to fight for what’s right continues to build momentum, and I couldn’t be prouder to have the support of my former colleague and Congresswoman, Jennifer McClellan.”
